Tramore , Ferrybank, West Waterford , KCK and Waterford AC. Officers
Elected for coming year were as follows; Chairperson Brian Scanlon
Vice,
Chair Noel Power, Secretary /Treasurer Pat Mc Govern, PRO Fintan
Walsh. After 13 years Noel Power did not seek re election as
chairperson.  2013 was a very successful one for Waterford athletes at
juvenile ,senior and masters level Nationally and on the International
stage.A discussion took place on the standard at some of the field
events and hurdles in last years County championships and all clubs
were asked to make an effort to have all participating in these events
trained for them and not produce them on the day just to make up
numbers.  The following County Championship Cross Country fixtures
were made and all at St Augustine's College Abbeyside.12 noon each
day. Sunday October 6 th Boys and Girls  under 10,12,14,16, ( also

be confirmed. All Ireland Championships Sunday November 17  th   Even
age Juvenile and Inter Counties Senior and Junior, venue to be decided
and it could be Waterford IT, Sunday December 15 th Uneven Juvenile
and Novice men and women, venue to be decided,. Cross Country gives
all grades of athletes a chance to compete as team awards are in all
the events so every effort should be made by clubs to have full teams
competing at the County Championships but again all should be training
over the distances and not produced on the day and be completely
outclassed. and more than likely never seen again.
