One the big athletic events of the year in the area takes place on Sunday next on the outskirts of Waterford City. Its the Annual Waterford AC promoted Half Marathon with a huge entry from all over Ireland totalling 1750.and it gets under way at 11 am sharp over a completely different course than in previous years..A reminder that the race this year starts and finishes at Waterford IT Sports Campus out in Carriganore and not at the RSC as in past years, full details are on www.waterfordac.com. As well as parking at the Campus itself the Butlerstown Retail Park can also be used which is just 500 metres away from the Campus so if there is any delay in getting in to WIT Campus on the morning please go there.
