Munster Juvenile ages 14-19 Day 2

It was another very successful day in Nenagh today with club athletes winning a further 15 medals to add to the 12 medals won yesterday. Ann Corcoran had a fine double winning the under 14 60m hurdles and also the high jump with a fantastic new pb of 1.50m. Niamh Giles Doran completed a treble for the weekend when she won the under 17 long jump with a fine leap of 5.08m, a pb. Cormac McCann had an excellent pb of 5.34m in the boys under 15 long jump to snatch the title on his last jump. He also finished 3rd in the 60m. Ciara Giles Doran won the 300m and was second in the 60m hurdles under 18. Orla Quelly had an excellent win in the 1500m under 15. Orlaith O Brien had a fine throw in the under 14 shot to win gold and she was 3rd in the high jump. Ben Kiely was second in the 200m under 19. Neasa Murphy won the high jump under 16. There were bronze medals for Kellie Meade in the hurdles under 17, Siobhan Whelan in the long jump under 17 and Patrick O Neill in the 200m under 16.
