Munster u14-19 Indoor Champs Day 1

Excellent results including two championships best performances in Nenagh today. Eoin Browne had another fine run following on from last weekend and won the boys under 16 1500m in a new championship best performance. Sorcha Murphy won the girls under 19 high jump with a championship best of 1.65m erasing Kelly Propers championship best of 1.60m  from the record books! Ben Kiely had a fine win in the boys under 19 400m. Niamh Casey easily won the under 15 800m and there was double gold for Niamh Giles Doran in the under 17 60m and 200m. Ciara Giles Doran also took gold in the under 18 200m. Krista Meade was second in  the under 14 800m , Ann Corcoran was second in the under 14 long jump and Aisling Quinn was second in the under 16 800m. Siobhan Whelan won two bronze medals in the under 17 60m and 200m. Well done to everyone who competed today and best of luck to everyone tomorrow!
