Track at RSC

On Monday April 15th  the County Board were notified by Waterford City Council that the Track in Kilbarry will not be finished until the end of May at least. This was in reply to a request from County PRO as to what was the exact position regarding the track. Several dates had been mentioned to various people who had enquired at the RSC and the last one was that the contractors had arrived there on Thursday April 10 th. It remains to be seen whether the job will be done by the date mentioned as so far it would appear it is a very slow process and tied In with weather also.Certainly the Board should have been notified officially much earlier so as to enable them to sort out fixtures
