National juvenile Championships - weekend 1

Two great days in Tullamore today at the National u 12-19's! Well done to Niamh McNichol who won her first ever national medal when she took gold by a big margin in the girls u 17 100m. Well done also to Tom Gallagher who also won gold in the under 13 high jump and narrowly missed another medal finishing fourth in the long jump. paul Murphy had a superb win and set a new champion ship best in the boys u 19 400m. Orla O Brien was a clear winner of the girls u 15 shot.  kylie Heinan just missed a medal in the under 12 high jump on count back after clearing a new pb of 1.40m. we had lots of top 8 finishes also....Siobhan Whelan in the 100m and triple jump, Sean Whittle in the triple jump, Dara Musgrave in the long jump, Conor Giles Doran in the javelin and long jump, Chloe Farrell in the hurdles, high jump and long jump, Eoin Browne in  the 3k, Frankie dolphin in the triple jump, Chris Noonan in the 400m hurdles, Stephen Walsh in the 100m and Michael Mulligan in the turbo javelin. Well done everyone.
