New Irish Record for Mairead

Mairead Murphy has just set a new Irish Senior record in the heptathlon!! Placing 4th overall in the Big 12 conference in Kansas she scored 5399points to record the best ever score by an Irish lady in the heptathlon. (13.88, 1.63, 11.31, 24.61, 5.66, 31.59, 2.18.8) Well done Mairead from everyone in Ferrybank A.C. A marvellous achievement!
